I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
